I contacted Uber and they claim my info wasn’t downloaded. I joined Uber last October. Maybe it was before I signed up?

Uber has disgusting business practices for sure, but this is way over the top. There is absolutely no excuse whatsoever for not letting us know about the potential personal disasters each of us could have faced. How dare they treat us this way? If any of us had done the same thing we would be wearing orange jumpsuits so we have to ask…who and how many members of law enforcement did he pay off in order to continue to be able to walk the streets? Surely someone will organize a class action suit against Uber. They deserve to be put out of business.

More and more truth will come out. That’s why the up front pricing which killed the drivers share along with decreased boost, surges and bonuses way down. Uber is preparing for the fallout and cost by trying to keep as much money as possible.
Mark my words the next thing will be issues with the driver being contractors or employees and consequences of that.
The company has been more interested in covering things up than making things better. 180 days of change imho was only smoke and mirrors to make it look from the outside the company was trying to keeps its most important assets happy ie the drivers. And the smoke and mirrors is basically not for our benefit but to make the company valuable from an investment point of view in the business market.
Really not good direction uber is headed in.

if Uber gets ban and there is a demand for the service, something else will replace it like in Austin, Texas. i believe they need to be banned.

Basically, nothing has improved. The GPS is a mess. Pool is a nightmare with the express version. People have no idea they’re using it. Email support sucks. Phone support is borderline ok.

Airport riders need to be taught how it works for pickup.

Pool should NOT be an option for going to or being picked up at the airport.

Sorry but I wholeheartedly disagree with your assessment that this is just The cost of doing business. They intentionally omitted, misrepresented, and lied to its passengers, drivers, and the federal trade commission for their personal gain. That is fraud plain and simple. Uber should have to pay massive fine and Travis and other corporate executives who knew about this should face charges.

You know what I never understood, when something like this happens and the government ends up suing the company, fining them up the ass for all the damage and breaking of any laws….The people who are affected by this never get a dime. You hear about this company being fined 60 million for this, 20 million for that and so on….but all that money ends up going to the government. How is that even fair ? As a normal person you can't ever sue yourself cause of the way the laws are written , unless it's some kind of class action. It's not right that the state and feds get money for damage done to the little guy. It's like the mafia .

I just started driving for Uber almost 4 weeks ago. I lost my job and needed to help make ends meet. It's been challenging to say the least. I just came across your videos and I appreciate them very much! I wish more money could be made doing this. I really enjoy it even though it can be a challenge. I do have a part time job I'm starting monday doing property management. I plan on doing the Uber thing just occasionally when needed. But I look forward to seeing how this industry changes. I hope to watch more of your videos on the latest updates for Uber. Good to see some honest feed back on the internet regarding the "good, bad & ugly" of this industry. Thanks Uber Man!
