This is funny in a should of known kind of way why the hell would you design a car so its key systems could be accessed wirelessly in my opinion the only wireless systems in a car should be the radio/music system or satnav and thats it there just asking to have there cars hacked and crashed its just dumb knowing what kind of people are capable of

How about Boeing and Airbus airplanes operating within ADA OS and ICR ? Or how about Wall Street that is operating with SCADA and SMART GRID'S ? Or how about all the many traffic, rail, air traffic management systems and even banking systems that works within ADA OS ?!? Kudos to Chrysler that they have actually seen the security vulnerabilities in using wireless connections to get access to the operating systems in their cars. Still many commercial airplanes, banking systems, traffic management systems, close proximity defense systems on airplane carriers, etc, etc are very vulnerable for security breaches and nobody are taking notes. Just because it costs too damn much money to fix. As many people use to say : "Greed makes even the most smartest people to act as they would be idiots". In my opinion it's not a question, if or not somebody will hack into a huge banking system or a close proximity defense systems on a airplane carrier. But more of a question about, when will it actually happen. Especially when even huge amount of nations are investing billions after billions of money into their hacking knowledge and hacker armies. So this possibility looks not that far fetched, to be a serious danger.

Why the hell do people still buy cars from GM. You want a car that can flip, and whose ignition can catch on fire buy a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Want the most unsafe minivan on the god damn planet? Buy the Town and Country. Want your car to get hacked? Chrysler, the brand that pretends to be luxury. Burn in Hell GM. At LEAST buy a Ford if you're going to go Amurican. They're sort of getting better…..sort of.

What is funny about this is none of these cars have actually been hacked like this with the intent of malice. There were a group of guys that did this just to see if they could (they guy in the car was in on it too) but now it is making it seem like if people were actually hacking into their cars.

Well, Chrysler isn't the only car manufacturer that can have their cars hacked. Same goes for others, like Toyota, Audi, Ford, VW, Tesla, Honda, Hyundai, etc… so in this case, almost ANY car can get hacked nowadays, that is if you're driving a car that can't get hacked in anyway, such as a 1997 Honda Accord.
