Linus should start his own channel so that Julia can take over and we can get more content from Linus and then watch Julia videos over here? 😀

I remember back when my mom got a pc and there was no sound. It just made blip noises. I remember she bought a sound card and we were all excited and hovered around her while she installed a sound card into her PC and then booted it up to hear sound!!!! It was amazing!!! Lol.

I once buyed Steinberg UR22 mostly for music production, than, I paired that with my Rode NT1-A and start streaming and voice recording… I fall in love with these, so I put my old sndcard away (still got it because of THX – good old Soundblaster Audigy ZS with goldened backpins) and started to use my newest combo on regular basic as standalone dedicated sound card in my PC.

old x58 classified 3 mobo running onboard sound through an old regent HT-391 5.1 surround sound system.  no need for a sound card here especially any of that creative crap.

Since I only use mid-range Skullcandy headphones while gaming, I just use my Yeti Pro Mic as a DAC. Works for me.

I wonder if i actually need a sound card for my setup. I use logitech's z623 speaker system and sennheisers hd 201, the speaker system is connected through 3.5mm audio cable on my ECS A55F-M3 motherboard, and when i need my headphones, i use the headphone jack on my speaker system. Do i really need a sound card? would it improve my audio in any way?

You didn't answer the question, wtf?, for me i am an "indie" audio producer and a gamer, also an audiophile guy, so i need low latency and high qualiity, neither i can't get the two of them, there is no single solution to satisfy a gamer, an audiophile and a music productor, so.. what do you recomend for those cases?. Right now i have an MSI Godlike Motherboard with onboard Headphone DAC+Amp, other PC with Sound Blaster Elite Pro, some Asus Xonar U7 External USB Sound Card, and a Fiio X3 II USB HIFI DAC.
