I feel sorry for any of his children. They most likely didn’t play any part and now how to deal with his actions for the rest of their lives because everyone will judge them for it. Not saying the way she’s going about it is right, but we shouldn’t act like we would know better in her situation.

Even I agree the culprit should be responsible for the deaths he caused bit at least let his daughter see him last time…..That's not humane

She reminds me of a manga character hmmm. More importantly, it's her father's fault for being nuts in the head he terrorized his own people for crying out loud. Still feel bad she had to go through all of that

I think this was all a ploy from Eraserhead to show off his Japanese speaking skills. This story went no where and didn’t have much information in it or use… it’s all for the Japanese speaking.

the death penalty is barbaric, regardless of the crime that provoked it. it's particularly cruel when used against the physically and mentally infirm. asahara's crime was unspeakable, but to torture him and his family with capital punishment—particularly the surprise kind—only adds to the suffering.

The death penalty really is a sticky subject. Of course, it's wrong to kill people unnecessarily. And of course, there are people who are wrongly convicted. History has shown that the justice system sometimes makes mistakes. And it's a travesty when an innocent person is executed. So, as long as the death penalty exists, some innocent people are going to end up executed.

Still, all that said, some people really do need to die. There definitely are people out there who will continue to be a danger to everyone around them as long as they are left alive. When forced to choose between execution and 24/7 lockdown for the remainder of their life, I think execution is the more sensible option.

There really is no clear answer.

Terror attack? That was an act of war, technically not an act of terror to be clear. But let's forget the Japanese militaries atrocities and horrible war crimes, words cannot describe the things they did . Look into it. Nice try vice.
